I Was Wrong

Here I am, standing in the night time,
waiting for the right time,
to come along,
there I was, laying in the day light,
searching for what I might,
have done wrong,

And it hurts me because I hurt you,
and I know that I had no right to do,
all the things that I've done,
but I'm not the only one,
to have made mistakes,
and now my heart breaks,
because I hurt you so, because I let you go,
because it didn't show, but now I know,
how stupid I really was, to do what I did,
and I'm hurting because, I was such a stupid kid,
so here I am, saying words that few will say,
I am sorry, you mean so much to me,
and now it seems like night, in the middle of the day,
it's so dark that you I can't even see,
and I'm sorry, I know that I was wrong,
yes I'm sorry, I should've known it all along,
