Trying to make the pain stop

Shes in so much pain
like a shadow cast upon her
trying to turn her insane
don't shed a tear for her
she doesn't want your pity
all she wants is her heart to stop filling up with fear
her touches her heart
and looks at the knife
wondering if people would notice if she left just one mark
she picks up the knife so shine and cold
as she held it close she knew
ones she did this her soul would be sold
she pressed the knife against her skin
softly at first and then got harder
she was about to begin
watching the blood drip down
she thought this would make her happy
but made her crying softly trying not to make a sound
a pool of blood formed right next to her
she started to cry
her vision started to blur
once she did this she knew she couldn't change
her heart was broken
and it will always remain the same
she finally stop
and held her arm close
she didn't want anymore blood to drop
the cuts will always be there
all she could do was cover so people wont stare
when she sees the scare
she will remember her past
scares to prove that one night she went to far
