Too Late...

by Manda   Jul 31, 2005

People crowd around,
A lifeless figure on the floor.
People are whispering about how,
This young girl jumped from the balcony door.
Her boyfriend walks up,
And tears flow from his eyes.
He keeps thinking it was his fault,
And that he didn't get a goodbye.
Friends say she was healthy,
Just a bit depressed.
They say no one could ever make her happy,
Everyone tried their best.
It's many years later,
And that girl's boyfriend is reliving the day.
He still can't believe,
She took her life away.
He misses her life crazy,
And he remembers their first date.
Then he remembers that day,
And how he was too late.

Nice poem, when you rhyme try to keep it the same amount of syllables in the lines i know its difficult and takes twice the amount of time but it just makes the poem flow fantastically, your really talented Keep it up!
