I reached for what was no longer there..

I reached for your hand as I closed my eyes to see that you were there,
I saw you,
You held me close,
I don't know what happend to you,
You touched my shoulder to show that you were still there,
I turned around to find you were not there,
You suddenly appeared out of nowhere and gave me a soft gentle-ghostly kiss on the cheek,
Life flashed before our eyes as I watched you fall from your grace,
You took the plunge..
I reached and reached,
But you were so far away...
I open my eye's..
I suddenly realized that you were just a memory...
You were no longer there...
