I'm Going To Fly

I'm lying on my bed,
Staring to the sky,
I step onto my window ledge,
To jump so I can fly.

I've picked out my cloud,
Its the one other there,
My legs begin to tremble,
As I step into the air.

I've lost all that matters,
And now I'm almost lost too,
I let the wind whip my face,
I'm going to join you,

As the gravity pulls me to the earth,
Now I begin to cry,
A smile comes to my face,
I'm just about to fly.

~I wrote this around two years ago, when I was feeling my worse, drugs, alcohol and rebellion were in mmy life then~
