Lost Self

you wanted to change me for good,
but all i did was the worst,
now that youre gone,
no one in this world could ever take
your place,

i have found somebody who
understands me,
someone who would help me to get
through,
the one who is supposed to be,
the closest thing to being me,

i kept thinking of the good times,
i kept thinking of you,
how can i move on?
when it seems that i have been
wrong,
more than i have been right,

now i can see it clearly,
theres a pain that sleeps inside
me,
though i try to look away,
the pain still remains...

i have made mistakes,
i have to pay it with my tears,
and now your letting me go,
never to change your mind
and say...goodbye...

i will spend my lifetime,
my whole life,
i will use my broken heart,
to heal my broken life...
