That Night

That night we saw that shooting star-
All my troubles seemed so far.
Worries were a thing of the past.
I wished the night would last.

I didn't want to go back to the way is was.
Simply Because-
When I'm with you,
There's nothing I can't do.

We started up at the beautiful night sky.
I felt like I could spread my arms and fly.
When we shared a kiss-
I thought,"I can't believe this."

You were sitting beside me,
Telling me you loved me.
I couldn't believe you were mine.
I know I'll love for all time.

I thought it would be alarming
To find Prince Charming.
But you make me feel like more.
I can't go back to life before.

Without you--I'm incomplete.
With you-- I have the world at my feet.
Nothing matters- You love me- I love you-
It's a dream come true.
