Just like a drug

by kristen   Aug 4, 2005

It starts out with one small cut.
Then, you think: “Just one more time and I’ll be fine.”
Then you become addicted.
It’s like a drug.
You try to quit, but you can’t.
You feel guilty cause you know It’s bad.
But it makes you feel whole.
The next thing you know you re covered in scars.
Reminding you that you are a freak.
You hate them, but at the same time love them.
Each one tells a story
It’s like your own storybook of your life.
That only you can read.
The only thing is, you don’t know how the story ends.
