Memories (Can’t Let it Go)

Looking back hurts too much
The memories now are just so deep
And we can’t go back…
As these tears begin to seep

It’s too heartbreaking
When things simply shatter… come to an end
And even through the time
Such deep wounds don’t mend

You miss these people
Who were the ones to cause pain
After how much they hurt you
Life just wasn’t the same

I can’t let it go…
The memories of the past
Come back, to tear me
Wishing everything would last

Still can’t let it go…
Memories flowing again in my heart
Stumbling to the ground
This just had to fall apart
