I feel like shit today
I feel like I'm not worthy
Worthy to live this life
Not enough to be...
To many, I'm just crazy
To many, I'm insane
Too many think I should lay down to die
Too many know my name

I don't want to be known
For anything but this
But, I'm known for so much more
I think I'm even on a hit list?
Then again
Like I care
That's one emotion
I do not bare

Like my friend once said to me
"No one seems to care
Unless there's something wrong
And that just ain't fair!"
But, I admit
He's right about that
He always makes sure I know he cares
No matter where he's at

He's the one you count on
for everything and more
He's brutally honest
Right down to hard core
He wants to stop all my pain
Take me far from here
Just to talk in peace for once
To take away all my fears
