This Scar Is Dedicated To You

I slowly push the knife down,
Making a dent in my skin,
The candle on my bed side flickers,
As my room becomes dim.

I push harder,
As I think of all the times you made me cry,
This is the only way I can get rid of all my pain,
Without having to die.

I saw the knife into my arm,
Until I see a pink line,
Thinking about all the times,
That I had wished you were mine.

I think of all the times at night,
That I had hugged my pillow thinking of you,
I push deeper,
As I think of the boy I once knew.

I see a red line forming,
As I push down the knife,
I think of all the times you made me happy,
And now, how much I hate my life.

I hate you,
For what your making me do,
This was the only way I could release my pain,
All the pain that came from you.

A trickle of blood runs down my wrist,
And as the drop hits the floor,
I think of how after this cut heals,
I won't need you any more.

I blow out the candle,
And get back into bed,
I have one final thought of you,
And it's how in my heart, you are now dead.
