Lost love......true story

The love i had is now no more
i had to leave walk out the door
it broke my heart it hurt so bad
he said with him I'd never be sad
but by no choice of his own
now I'm sitting her alone
i miss him bad i need him so
without him now i feel so low
i had to start all over again
i hoped the lord a love would send
then a nice man came along
but sometimes i feel i am doing wrong
no relationships again for me
i will forever stay single and free
friends are nice dates are fun
but from now on I'll just be one

    I think everybody goes through the whole stage "I'm better off alone"....but for most of us, this feeling passes. There is always a need for relationships, whether it be friends or something more. Good job expressing the way you feel in this poem.
