Sometimes

Sometimes in life,
you don't get what you want.
things happen so fast,
pain is always there to haunt.
you can't change what happens,
even though you wish you could.
if I could go back and press rewind,
I know I definitely would.
everything happens for a reason,
at least that is what they say.
but why do they have to be so bad,
why is it that with pain we pay.
good things come and then they go,
the pain is always there.
it's like we live for the pain not the love,
really that's not fair.
some people say life is a game,
if so its one you always lose.
in the end we all will die,
how you handle it is what you choose.
