The Diary of a broken Child©

by xxamberxx   Aug 11, 2005

My diary tells a story
Unknown to all the rest
Secrets, thoughts and dreams
Lay scattered in my nest

It tells of how my heart is broken,
The stitches hold it tight,
The battles it has fought
There will be another one tonight.

Inside my pockets, they look empty
Until you find underneath the seams,
Lie's a bloody, rusty razor blade,
That has purpose to ease my needs.

No one would ever find my diary,
It's hidden, deep away
And everything that happens,
Is written down, just like today

People try to understand me,
But they find it very hard,
A message that was written,
With blood, in side a dusty card.

It's like at school, I've sussed them all,
There's the geeks that get ignored
Then there are the popular girls,
Who take drugs because they're bored.

Then there is that one rich lad,
Who has 20 thousand friends
Because they are afraid of him,
They get high, to prove they're men

Then there are the Goths and skaters,
Who get sh!t because they're not hooked on drugs
And they're a little different
Just because they're not in a hood

Then of course, you've got the tarts
Who sleep around just because they can
Are they so insecure, That they think
That it will help them get a man

Then of course there's the that one girl
Who hides underneath her hood
Tries to go unnoticed
Because she's so misunderstood

Well that girl is no other
Than the one and only me,
And that's my little story
Of a Broken Child's Diary
