Across the hall

by juggalette_4_life   Aug 14, 2005

Late at night

Hearing the yelling

Across the hall

Made me slide down inside my bed

With the covers over my head

Thinking I was safe

With my hands covering my head

Hearing the anger go back and forward from them

Happen to made me cry

I guess I cried myself asleep

But woke up with a really bad dream

I started to yell and cry

And at the door I saw some guy

He sat on my bed and it was my dad

He kiss me on top of my head

And said everything is all right

I’m always right here by your side
