One drink to many

Party time at the pub and the drinks go around
everyone smiling no sight of a frown
laughing,chatting and drinking away
today was Matt's 20th birthday

the evening was great and someone caught Matt's eye
the most beautiful woman he'd seen,he felt like he could fly
his face all red as the woman looked back
"go for it mate" said his best friend jack

after talking to the woman "i got her number!" he screamed
he sat back with his friends,it felt like a dream
time passed and the woman left
"have another drink" "i can't I'm driving" Matt said

"go on another wont hurt you" jack cried
and so Matt drank another and later walked to the car outside
he was a good driver he wouldn't crash
and even if he did he'd be alright,he'd fix the car as quick as a flash

a few weeks later a gravestone lies
"here lay Matt,in a car crash he died"
