A Thousand Years.(Iwish I could say)

by Kristen   Aug 15, 2005

A thousand memories
A thousand cheers
A thousand lies
A thousand tears
A thousand minutes
We spent each day
A thousand years
I used to say
A time when we
Were young at heart
A time when we
Weren't apart
You're my best friend
Of a thousand words
You're my great friend
Of a thousand learned
Remember when we
Soon first met
We were good
Always intact
Like the days of our heartaches
Crying in our beds
We wished we'd kept
The thousand slaps across the face
Of a thousand soon
To be embraced
Time was taken,
try not to break it
Mirrors shattered in the halls
Oh mirror, mirror on the wall
Who's the careless one of all
Do not show the thousand times
When the fights were always mine
And do not show the thousand times
Of when he left me to fall behind
The thousands of mistakes to be put on hold
I blame the who has no soul
Lock away my empty heart
Lock away his shattered arms
The times of blades
Straight to the wrist
Covered up by long-sleeved shirts
My empty heart you tore apart
With a thousand crimsons stabs
My empty heart I glue apart
With a blade in my left hand
I took the time to call you mine
You took the time to fall behind
Runaway from nasty thoughts
A dreams a dream
Without the shock
Electrified with ones own mind
A thousand words were left behind,
But a thousand times
I wish you were here
Beside me forever
For a thousand years
A thousand memories
A thousand cheers
A thousand lies
A thousand tears
A thousand minutes
We spent each day
A thousand years
I wish I could say.
