The Crimson Trail

by Rev   Aug 15, 2005

Searing pain in the wrist,
warm feeling in my skin,
razorblade that has kissed,
I created another sin.

Three feet from the door,
my legs begin to pound,
I can’t seem to go on much more,
I can’t get off the ground.

I drag myself by one arm,
It’s harder than I thought,
I didn’t mean to cause harm,
But its pain that first forgot.

The crimson trail is following me,
It’s going to stain my pants,
the pain is up to my knee,
getting lost in forever trance.

The world is becoming blurry,
the pain wont seem to seize,
I wish it would all hurry,
I wish death wasn’t such a tease.
