The Blade

by Rev   Aug 15, 2005

The blade was the first to forgive me,
it was the only way,
I wish I wasn’t so clumsy,
to screw up that perfect day.

I got down on the floor,
on my hands and knees,
it all felt like before,
the days of all the furies.

The blade was so cold,
my skin was surprisingly hot,
it was all easily controlled,
the blade easily forgot.

I pulled the blade away,
what have I just done?
I begin to daze and sway,
the process had already begun.

The world quickly turns colors,
I give out some faint cries,
I should’ve listened to the others,
I‘ll just slowly close my eyes.
