As the knife slides

The knife slides
right across my wrist
i smile as it stings
i smile as it slits
the blood is coming
i wipe it away
there is a tear in my eye
another tear for another day
i hide the knife
in my secret place
i wish my life would just end
i wish it would be erased
erased from humanity
gone forever
so when i go down there
we will be together
i pull my sleeve down
I've done my job
i come out of the bathroom
looking like a slob
counting the days
to when i will die
i cant wait to the day
i commit suicide
why not now? you ask
well its on a special date
its the date of my birthday
i wait for my fate
i will leave a note
saying how much i love you
but i couldn't take it anymore
i didn't know what to do
when the day comes
a smile will go across my face
knowing i wont have to spend much longer
in this horrid place!!
