You said I meant the world to you,
And loosing me was your fear,
But I guess you haven’t noticed,
That my end is very near,
As time ticks by and life goes on,
We continue to drift apart,
But whether we’re friends or not,
You’re always in my heart,
But I can’t continue living,
My life of tangled lies,
Everyone can see past,
My cheap little disguise,
I know that you care,
But maybe not enough,
Not even you can save me,
From the ending of my life, so rough,
I was nothing special to you,
Though to me you meant the world,

For to you I was only a girl,
You were there for me to cry too,
