Somewhere Out There

by GoddessOfWings   Aug 16, 2005

I search for non-existent lands,
the mystic touch of golden sands,
the glitter of a wanted dream,
a folklore song to help redeem.
Stepping through the looking glass,
no longer here, it moves so fast,
the rain falls cold onto my skin,
release the anger held within.

Just another piece of mind,
nothing here for me to find,
say so long and kiss my hand,
I know you'll never understand.

I speak for things no other's know,
believe in things that never show,
my mind; the mirror of fantasies,
will search for more than 7 seas.
The wings that sprout on destiny,
bring out whatever's left in me:
saphire trees of autumn's kiss,
the angel's feather of new born bliss.

Just another piece of mind,
nothing here for me to find,
say so long and kiss my hand,
I know you'll never understand.

Go, jealous skies of reality,
kill the depression you give to me,
I sing to angels, fairies, elves,
to anyone who has lost themselves.
I lead the people who think like me,
who want to flee such truth they see,
to dip our feet in silver lakes,
to live a dream and never wake.

Just another piece of mind,
nothing here for me to find,
say so long and kiss my hand,
I know you'll never understand.
