Sweet Loves Suicide

The taps are turned
The water is cold
My lesson I learned
With what I was told

The blade is sharp
It glints in the light
A broken heart
In the shadow of night

I grip the handle
Of the knife
I light a candle
To end this life

I lock the door
And take a breath
The blood shall pour
With this teenage death

The blade slides in
It digs in deep
It pierces my skin
My blood shall seep

I stare at the photo
I have held in my hand
The tears start to flow
It’s more than I can stand

My heart is screaming
I love you still
Leaving me trembling
For I always will

Anger overcomes me
Filling me within
I’m crying with insanity
Blood tickling my skin

I push the knife in
And it pierces my vein
I’ll make up for sin
And get rid of the pain

I fall to the floor
Whilst loosing my breath
There’s a knock at the door
As I’m close to my death

Now the water is red
I’m sorry I tried
Now all that can be said
