Katie, such an inspiring piece! You’re a true friend, you wrote the truth, and that is how people have to look at life. It can’t be sugar coated, it will be a struggle, but there is nothing in life that is impossible. Brilliant as always, thank God the red numbers are working again. Take Care! Brooke~

This is a sweet, well written poem. I especially liked the part 'Remember the smiles, the laughs the fun
Not the days stuck in the rain, but those in the sun' It's powerful. Amazing poem.

Wow...I loved this piece. It's refreshing to see such a poem like this from you as I'm used to reading the more creative ones. Nice to see you can venture out and be successful. This poem is truly inspriring and Jessie is lucky to have someone care so much. The emotion just came through this poem...the reader can feel the love and devotion that you hold for your friend...that's what makes a poem like this so special. So many can feel it and even more importantly relate to it.

The only part that stood out for me was 'But you never have to be so very cold and alone' ---'so very' didn't do it for me...I don't know it just threw it off a bit.

So nicely done Katie! I absolutely love this piece. :)

Thanks for this poem. I know you wrote it for Jessie, but it was a nice reminder to me as well to remember the good parts of life and not to get caught up in the bad as I often do. Great poem hunny. Ummm question, your porfile says you're at the hospital and I was wondering why. So yeah, if it's too personal to say, that's okay by me. Either way, nice poem!
