The everlasting night

by Liz   Aug 18, 2005

He came to her window
She crawled out of bed
She took his hand and they walked, as he led
The night was so clear and amazing
He looked into her eyes and came closer
Her eyes met his but her heart was racing
She shivers but he holds her tighter
The night seems everlasting
A distant sound reaches her ear of an owl hooting and singing
He takes her hand and twirls her around
As they begin to dance in the night
They spin and hold tight on the soft mossy ground
The night seems everlasting
His dark brown hair waving in the breeze
As the wind surrounds their moving feet
The song unheard to all but them as they dance to the distant beat
The night seems everlasting
The song dies down and they walk away
Staying close to the ocean side
He has to go but she begs him to stay
He embraces her one last time
The night seems everlasting
The darkness surrounds her as he guides her to the window
She climbs in and goes to sleep
As he leaves a rose on her window sill
He wispers "Untill we meet again, Untill"
