Drip Away

by williamcampbell   Aug 20, 2005

Today I started cutting,
To relieve all of my pain.
I tried to make some freinds,
But it was a dead end lane.

I thought I found a lover,
But she turned her back on me.
I tried to turn to family,
They neglected me, you see.

Man I looked for acceptance,
All over the God damn place.
But all I ever found there,
Was scowls and mocking faces.

Now I look to this cold steel,
To take my pain away,
I\'ll look into the mirror,
And watch my life drip away.

I would love to start talking to you.
Its extremely hard to find someone who will accept you for who you are, when most people want to change things about you that make up who you really are.
