Saviour...

by Enya   Aug 21, 2005

There is a gentle breeze,
As children leave,
Their past and woes and fears behind.

His hand is out,
The stairs are down.
Upon him is is cloak and crown.

There Saviour is here,
To save their souls.
To mend their hearts corrupted holes.

He said to them,
Their time has come.
They have fulfilled their task, their service done.

He picks them up,
With graceful hands.
And places them up top new lands.

They wave good-bye,
To the world behind.
And are sacrificed with peace in mind.
