The Path...

by Enya   Aug 22, 2005

To see the world through other's eyes,
Would be another's compromise.
The weeping willow and shattered heart,
Are what this world's become apart.

People killing, people dying.
Children praying, children crying.
No answer here is to be found,
The answer's six feet underground.

Tragic eyes see through the tears,
Of yesterdays and yonder years.
When it rains it truly pours,
With hateful eyes both mine and yours.

You turn deaf ears to wards the world,
And blind eyes to face the sun.
The path behind is unforgiving.
The one ahead has just begun
