Life As It Should Be

by Bill Turner   Aug 22, 2005

When we kiss
Time stands still
It is you I miss
I’ll never get my fill

My passion for you runs deep
Our love is pure and right
I look at you for hours when you sleep
I could hold you and stare all night

Nothing has ever felt so right and good
You make my life worth living
We are just doing as we should
Taking all our love and giving

We get it right
Our love is pure
Holding each other into the night
Until the end of time, of this I am sure

Sharing our lives, totally and free
Giving and trusting with our heart
Living and loving, you and me
Aching for the other when we are apart

Absolutely beautiful job! I normally don't read love poems all that much...(to me, most of them all sound the same) but I make an exception for yours.

    keep up the good work!
