Day to Night

by Laura   Aug 22, 2005

When the sun breaks through the cloud filled sky,
A caterpillar breaks free from its cocoon and flies away a butterfly.
The multi coloured rainbow goes miles beyond human eye site,
It is a picture perfect scene just before the fall of night.

Squirrels scatter across grassy lawns to find a good hiding place,
Bees buzzing loudly collecting all they honey from the flower’s face.
The wind whispers Mother natures secret through out town,
All in a day before the sun sets to go down

The calm of night lets the stars shine high in the sky,
Higher than you will ever see the birds fly.
As the moon’s glow provides a dim light,
Nocturnal creatures roam through out the night
