Climb the Mountain

Beautiful faces
Empty souls
Big attitudes
But no meaningful words
Where emotion once was stand a love
of popularity and greed
Conceited, spoiled brats
Who fit into society's norms
But ignore everyone's problems
Except when to gossip
Laughing at someone else's
misfortunes
Not even caring about damaging
someones self-worth
It's all about competition
Spilling secrets,
Making vicious remarks
And pushing down anyone in your way
Till you get to the top
Just trying to climb the social ladder
So you're the best
Step on the ones who deserve none of it
So when you get what you want
Who's with you in the end?
Every one has left you
But
Do you even care?
Just as long as you are in the spotlight
Nothing else matters
But how much is popularity worth
When you have no friends
