WANTED: A LISTENER

I may look strong,
but my heart's so weak.
I search for someone,
in which to speak.

All I need is someone to listen,
to what I have to say,
I don't need an interrogator,
questioning me all the way.

My heart is so full,
of pain and sorrow,
I feel as if there will be,
no tomorrow.

A listener,
is all that I ask.
It's not that difficult,
or so great a task.

I truly don't care,
how this poem is rated,
all I know is,
my plea is updated.
