Real Love

by Bill Turner   Aug 25, 2005

Real love is sleeping an hour or two
Rising early and smiling all day
Knowing last night it was just you two
Letting love make it all okay

Our love is not wanting to go
Knowing how tired we will be
Our love is not being able to say no
Letting our minds and bodies run free

What we share is all we give
Love, passion and devotion all through our life
This is how we will always live
Letting our love melt away the day’s strife

Calls throughout the day
Giving our tired bodies fuel
Passionate words of love making it okay
Letting our love guide and rule

You touch my soul so deep
You have my heart
My love you will keep
As we will never part
