They say

by M MEM   Aug 27, 2005

They say those things
So often
Everyday
The say those things
Push me down
So they seem so high
But they never moved at all...
They say those things
Not thinking of the consequnces
Everyday
They say those things
And they're accompinied
With those looks
Piercing my soul
They say those things
With each word
Each word moving me there
Little by little
Until
I jump those 6 feet
And fall into a sleep

i know its not my best so...

I know how you feel in this poem, people never realise just how much their cold and cruel words can affect people, the best thing to do I have found is to think up some witty remarks which turns it back on them, though it does not heal the hurt it gives you the upper hand and some satisfaction, remember people like that are worthless, it does hurt, but you are above them, and so strong to cope with that, I hope everything gets better for you..

You know thats so true. people never care about the words they say, and how much they hurt. it's even worse when it's your own family. onle time i had my brother look at me right in the eye and tell me that i was completely useless. so, i know how u feel. stay strong, keep fighting, and don't let people break you down.

People in this world can be pretty cold and unfeeling at times. I've been teased constantly since 7th grade about my eyes, and I'm just now in 12th grade. I've had many broken promises from my mom. That along with everything else happening in my life caused me to take the frustration out on my wrists. Just try to keep writing about your feelings.. if you have an obsessive thought in your head, write a poem about it.. describing it. It really did help me.
