They're All The Same

by Rachele   Aug 28, 2005

Don't ever judge me, cause that just ain't fair.

If you don't like what you see, well that's your right.

But if you don't even know me, don't talk behind my back.

Cause everywhere I go, I hear all these whispers, and these little giggles.

If you aren't old enough to realize that some people are different, then you aren't mature enough to be talking behind my back.

Yeah, I see you with your "cute" little skirts.

And I see the way you laugh when I walk by.

Well go ahead and laugh at me because I'm different.

But what you don't see is I'm laughing at you, cause you all look the same.

The secret of life is individuality.

But you're all dressed the same cause you're full of insecurities.

Don't look at me with pity, cause I look at you like a fool.

Grow up, and stop living in your little material world.

I think, but am not positive, that you're talking specifically about life in general, but in the school setting. I've had this happen to me many times. And, it hurts very deeply. I would go home from crying. I would be very depressed and overwhelmed, just from my day, I found it very hard to do homework and so forth.... So; please, remember, you're not alone...

By the way, very well expressed. Excellent poem in every aspect... I don't know what I'd do without people as suppportive and understanding as you.
