Last Night

by Bill Turner   Aug 28, 2005

Last night was pure pleasure
Having the house ready for you
Heartfelt moments I’ll always treasure
Preparing and then dining with you

Oh what a wonderful thrill
Spending the evening together
Wandering into Margaritaville
With a love that will last forever

As we made our toast
I thought of what will be
Our place on the coast
Where our hearts run free

Holding you in my arms last night
I felt as if I was home
Whenever I’m with you my life is right
No matter where we are we have a home

Home lays in the others arm
The safest place either could be
No stress, no strife, free of harm
The only place for you and me

Last night made it all clear
Last night made it all right
Life is perfect when you are near
Laying in each others arms last night
