Death in her thoughts
a smile on her face
a big group of friends
but no proper place

a superficial like
she makes seem realistic
the causes her so much strife
makes her feel ballistic

as her feelings swell
so do her tears
but she keeps it all hidden
that and her fears

feelings of happiness
pushed to the bottom
there they will stay
rot and forgotten.
