Wedding Day

by Bill Turner   Aug 29, 2005

Nervous we are not
We are happy as can be
The rings have been bought
Giving our love to thee

Radiant, dressed in white
Beauty beyond compare
Hiding just out of sight
As you brush your hair

Showing myself to you
Reminded of our fantasy
Locking the door behind you
Playing it out, you and me

Making love in a side room
Hiding from the others
Passionate bride and groom
Wedding day lovers

Watching you walk down the aisle
I beam with pride
We both smile
Knowing what we did inside

The reception will be over the top
Friends and family, laughter and love
With this crowd it may never stop
As we dance together filled with love

The band will play all we want to hear
We will sing Wonderful Tonight
Our family and friends will cheer
Because my love you will be wonderful that night

Satisfy My Soul will clue our leaving
As we slip into the night
We’ll fool them into believing
We are staying all night

As we make our way to the room
Driving each other crazy along the way
Perfect bride and groom
We know no other way

You secretly planned our trip
It is a mystery to me
The honeymoon suite has a pole for you to strip?
Your plan is perfect so far, for me

Our life a honeymoon
Playing out the fantasies in our head
The perfect bride and groom
Our love will always be fed
