I had the Knife

I had the knife,
I slit in deep
I cut in hard,
I slit it harder

I tried again.
Another cut,
Deeper still,
But not yet there

I want to feel
Physical pain
Not the stuff
Inside of me

Maybe just
If I go far enough through
The pain from my wrist
Will out weigh that of my heart
And I will forget this hell.
