My Promise To You

by Bill Turner   Aug 29, 2005

My love, as that is what you are to me
I promise you, all the rest of your life
That our two hearts will run free
As we’ll be together, husband and wife

I give to you all my heart
For without you I will wither and die
I give this freely, knowing we’ll never part
We were created for each other, you and I

The love and life we share
Is our hearts desire
For no one else will I ever care
You set my heart on fire

I will honor you for all your life
I will respect you to my dying day
I will love you, as my equal in life
In my heart you will always stay

I will stand and marry you
Anytime, anywhere, anyplace
I am so in love with you
The mere thought puts a smile on my face
