Yankees of 2004

by Kat   Aug 29, 2005

They train, they play, they win,
That\'s the Yankees\' cause to grin.
A better tem you cannot find,
From the field to the sidelines.

Jason Giambi\'s at First,
A slugger at his worst.
Second\'s covered by Miguel Ciaro,
He can grab the ball high or low.

Alex Rodriguez has taken up third,
Opponents cringe if his name is heard.
Shortstop’s claimed by Derek Jeter.
An awesome Yankee captain and leader.

Gary Sheffield will take care of Right.
Watching him play is an awesome sight.
Center’s held by Bernie Williams.
He’s got RBI’s in the millions.

Hideki Matsui’s holdin’ Left fast.
You’ll be amazed with a look at his stats.
Our designated hitter is Ruben Serria.
His homers fly until the end of the era.

Jorge Posada is set behind Home.
He’ll catch the pitches wherever they roam.
Our saving pitcher is Mariano Rivera,
He’ll pitch until the end of the era.

These are the Yankees of 2004,
They’re the one team I truly adore.
You may think they win never,
But I’ll hold them in my heart forever.
