Frost

by Katherine A Lee   Aug 30, 2005

On my window, leaving all signs of welcome behind
Spreading like a plague over the glass and sill
No people anywhere, not a person could you find
Everyone, everywhere is increasingly still
All things leading up to this one moment
Sliding up the pane, the crystals form
All summer long the frost had been dormant
Then all at once hit by a violent storm
Frost fills my sights...
