A Sister

by Katherine A Lee   Aug 31, 2005

I wish I had a sister, someone who I can talk to
You, as my best friend, are my sister, in a form, that is true
Paternal only a state of mind and other siblings aside
I would do anything for you, just as one of same blood, only in you can I confide
Wishing you were my real sister would be selfish of me to say
Seeing as you have parents of your own a brother who want you to stay
Part of our family I would love for you to be
But seeing as you aren't an orphan, my onee-chan you can be to me
