Weary As You May Be

by Bill Turner   Aug 31, 2005

I know that you are tired and weary
I’ll take care of you tonight
Smile and have not a worry
I’ll make it all right

No dinner will you have to cook
No dishes will you have to do
Just smile and look
As it is all done for you

A hot bath will be drawn
In your hand, a hot toddy
I’ll hold you until dawn
My arm around your glorious body

Today you feel like hell
Weak and weary
Tonight I’ll get you well
Take it slow, no hurry

I’ll cuddle you to sleep
Whispering my love in your ear
Our passionate love will keep
As we hold each other near
