A Silent Dream Of Death

by Bradley   Sep 1, 2005

I toss and turn thinking dark thoughts
Squirming and sweating through my pajama shorts
I measure my dream with terror, terror of the unknown
I'm lost in nothing, letting out an unsteady grown
I mumble confused, unorthodox words
Alone in a world where everything hurts
Emotional and scared as time stands still
Metaphorical monsters of pain is what i can see and feel
I groan again and whimper "please stop"
Nothing can help me, an endless drop
I hit the ground, then up i stand
Fear walks over and smothers me, hes back in command
"Please stop" again, Fear laughs at my cries
I wake up crying, with blood red eyes
A dream i think, just a dream
Don't go back to sleep i silently scream

Good, its more dark than sad though, but still good.

Very good use of words to describe a nightmare but also great in the way people could relate to it as another situation other than a nightmare. Keep it up xXx
