Dear God,
This is my letter to you
I write in hopes of you
Letting me know what to do

I know your not proud
But what can I say
I fell to temptation
And now I cry today

But you've always been around
To make me feel good
You are the only one
That has ever understood

Even though I cant see you
I know that you are there
I know that no matter what
You will always care

You give me hope
When none can be found
You give me light
When there's darkness around

You gave me strength
When all I felt was weakness
You showed me the path
Which I must follow to happiness

Please hold me by the hand
And don't let me fall
Lead me to your gates
And help me stand tall

Please forgive me
Keep me under your wing
Look at my situation
Notice for who I am reaching

I want to be
All you want me to be
I just need your guidance
I just need you to help me
