Maybe*

This happens all the time
all these feelings
all these emotions
bottled up inside
It's far from confusion
and far from depression
It's just how I feel
I've got these unexplainable feelings
but as I am writing this
I am thinking
Maybe I should tell him
but I'd hate to get rejected
or shall I say
I just don't want to get hurt
or take our friendship to the next level
or make us feel awkward around each other
maybe I'll just keep these feelings to myself
