Unsolved...Shitty detective..

Being smothered with emptiness
Fingerprints smeared and erased
Have you just simply forgotten?
Have I so easily been replaced?

Blood trail paves a bold path
Yet I quickly fall astray
If you can forget so quickly
How come I feel so betrayed?

Footsteps stamped upon the ground
Trace them all the way
Nothing short of a mystery
Why don't you want to stay?

Writing on the wall screams stop
But this investigation must proceed
I have to find an explanation
I want this more then anything I need

Confession within words
Silence does me no good
How come every prediction
Comes out not as I thought it would

Skid marks span across the street
Too quick of a get away to chase
Hopelessly chasing out of breath
So quickly I have fallen from grace

Interrogate your locked mind
Questions are meant to be replied
Not kept inside or left behind
But I would believe you if you lied

So in my desperate last search
To the thoughts inside my head
I determined that you never cared
That's where my discoveries have led

But I suppose it's just a theory
And we always think the worst
My evidence perhaps mislead
I'm still left where I was at first
