Keep your promises.

by נυѕтуσυяανєяαgÑ”[иσвσ∂у]   Sep 7, 2005

You cut.
Why?
Your one word answer..
Life.
I asked you,
Asked you to promise..
That you wouldn't again.
You promised,
But would you keep to it?
I didn't want you hurt.
I love you too much!
Next day, we spoke,
You seemed happier,
I asked you how you felt,
You said you were fine.
And that you were gonna live every day to the full.
That meant so much to me.
You couldn't possibly realise.
So keep your promises.. It could mean the world to someone

This poem means a lot, and it makes me think of a few promises I've broken, that ripped someones world apart, but I think it was for the better for them in the long run, 5/5
