When I was little Girl
You where always there
And I use to swirl and whirl and twirl
I had people who cared

When you left me
I felt so alone
It wasn't meant to be
But since then I've grown

When I see you and you leave
It still makes me cry
It's really hard to believe
All I can ask is why?

Why did it have to be so far away?
I miss you so much
You were no longer there, to far away to touch

Why did you have to leave me mum?
Why did you have to move?
Why did that have to be the final outcome?
What where you trying to prove?

You left when I was in grade 5
I had to change schools
How was I meant to survive?
A whole new set of rules

Now I only see you every few months
And I just want you to know
That every morning I still say hello
But I am only talking to a photo.
